Get ready to dig deeper, reach higher, and grow together with For Garden’s Sake —where every plant needs a home and every home needs a plant! The spring season starts March 1 and generally winds down late May, dependent on weather. These are part-time seasonal (temporary) positions.
The Garden Center is open seven days a week, with 8:45am – 5:15pm or 9:45am – 6:15pm shifts; we’ll also have several For Friday’s Sake events when we’ll stay open until 8pm. Minimum three days a week required, including at least one weekend day. Staff must be willing to work outside in all weather conditions and be cross-trained to provide backup support to other positions as needed (cashiering, customer assistance, Potting Shed serving). Staff may also help customers carry and load purchases into vehicles.
Cashiers
Cashiers are the bright, friendly faces that represent the heartbeat of the shopping experience.
You aren’t just processing customers’ purchases; you are the difference between a mundane purchase and a delightful retail adventure. Be the first to greet customers with a smile and then ensure they conclude their shopping trip on a high note. You’ll need to be tech-savvy and comfortable with POS systems. If you thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments and can seamlessly handle long lines and a store buzzing with customers with an upbeat attitude, this role is for you!

Be ready to flex those muscles, as you’ll need to be able to lift up to 50lbs! This role is go-go-go, so energetic people will do best!
