THE POSITION:
We are seeking a Field Supervisor/Foreman for our Lawn Maintenance Division, to help deliver high-quality service to our clients. This is a great role for someone who enjoys interacting with crew and clients, working with their hands and being active, and a mix of being outdoors and driving.
This role conducts regular quality inspections of client properties, meets with clients to provide landscape guidance and address concerns, and assists with landscape maintenance repairs when needed. This person also mentors and works alongside crew members, upholding safety and performance standards, and keeps the team moving efficiently. The ideal candidate is adaptable, has technical proficiency, and takes pride in a job well done.
This is a full-time, year-round, salaried position paying $48,000 annually, with weekly pay. Workday begins at 6:45 AM and ends at a variable time, depending on the day and workload. The typical work week is Monday – Friday and averages 40–45 hours; Saturday work is rare but may be needed occasionally due to weather or other extenuating circumstances.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct routine quality checks on client properties – requires extensive local travel and time spent in work truck
- Perform basic repairs on irrigation, lighting, and others
- Provide client with input on landscape health and suggestions for plant replacements, enhancement projects, etc.
- Work directly with Division Director to identify and resolve property concerns
- Meet with clients as needed to address concerns, maintain quality, and recommend additional services – then update team with notes in a timely manner
- Assist with job setup, prep, and completion
- Work with crews when needed, maintain safety for both employees and equipment, and develop a working relationship with all crew members
- Collaborate with other departments, with client satisfaction in mind
- Stand in for Division Director in his absence
REQUIREMENTS:

- MUST have a valid driver’s license with no major MVR infractions
- Professional experience in lawn maintenance required; experience in landscape installation a plus
- Familiarity with equipment and experience operating (push, zero turn, stand-on mowers; trimmers, edgers, chainsaws; herb/pesticide sprayers and spreaders; dump trucks, trucks with trailers)
- General plant knowledge required; irrigation knowledge and experience a plus
- Strong communication skills and experience with face-to-face client interactions and client relations management
- Tech savviness and willingness to learn new technology; experience with management software (specifically Crew Control) a plus
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English required; bilingual in Spanish a plus
- Good business sense with professional demeanor and leadership, organization, multitasking/prioritizing skills. Responsible, dependable, and trustworthy.
