We are seeking an Account Manager for our Lawn Maintenance Division, to help lead our team and deliver high-quality service to our clients. This role supervises, trains, and mentors crews as well as works directly with clients for property checks, project preparation, and site repairs. The ideal candidate is adaptable, has technical proficiency, takes pride in a job well done, and enjoys a mix of supervisory and boots-on-the-ground tasks.
This is a full-time, year-round, salaried position paying $50,000 annually, with weekly pay. Workday begins at 6:45 AM and ends at a variable time, depending on the day and workload. The typical work week is Monday – Friday and averages 40–45 hours; Saturday work is rare but may be needed occasionally due to weather or other extenuating circumstances.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise crews on-site, conducting regular check-ins and occasionally participating in fieldwork
- Conduct initial training for new employees on standard procedures
- Assist in repairs for property damage, irrigation systems, landscape lighting, and on-site equipment
- Perform quality assurance inspections on client properties – requires extensive local travel and time spent in work truck
- Address client concerns directly and collaborate with team to resolve issues
- Prep for landscape enhancement projects and conduct walkthroughs
- Accompany teams to new client properties for initial walkthroughs
- Help prepare chemical mixtures for lawn treatment programs
- Undertake some minor landscape enhancement projects, Design & Installations (D&Is), and deliveries
- Implement occasional adjustments to Crew Control routing
- Stand in for Division Director or crew leads during absences
REQUIREMENTS:
- MUST have a valid driver’s license with no major MVR infractions
- Professional experience in lawn maintenance required; experience in landscape installation a plus
- Familiarity with and experience operating equipment (push, zero turn, stand-on mowers; trimmers, edgers, chainsaws; herb/pesticide sprayers and spreaders; dump trucks, trucks with trailers, skid steers)
- General lawn and landscape chemical knowledge a plus
- General plant knowledge required; irrigation and lighting knowledge a plus
- Strong communication skills and experience with face-to-face client interactions and client relations management
- Tech savviness and willingness to learn new technology; experience with management software (specifically Crew Control) a plus
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English required; Spanish bilingual a plus
- Good business sense with professional demeanor and leadership, organization, and multitasking/prioritizing skills

We are seeking an experienced Lawn Maintenance Landscaper for our Enhancement Crew. This team takes yards to the next level with meticulous detail work and fine tuning, above and beyond routine lawn maintenance. Crew members are hard working, team players, and work with integrity and professionalism.
This is a full-time year-round position paying $19+/hour, with weekly pay. We offer paid time off and holidays; medical, dental, vision, and life insurance; matching 401k; discounts at the Garden Center; and work-life balance. Advancement opportunities available as we continue to grow.
Work day is 7:00AM to variable end time (usually around 4pm). Work week is Monday – Friday and averages 40 hours with paid overtime. Saturday work is occasional as needed, and never any Sunday work.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Technical and specific shrub trimming based on plant type and time of year
- Edge and trim beds, prune trees and shrubs, weed, spread mulch and pine straw
- Small-scale plant and annuals installation
- Some routine lawn maintenance: Mow grass, water lawns and flower beds, blow leaves and brush, aerate and seed
- Operate large machinery: trucks and trailers, ride-on and walk-behind mowers, etc.
- Operate handheld equipment: blowers, weed eaters, aerators/seeders, etc.
- Work closely with a team to produce a superior product that enhances our customers’ lifestyle
- Routinely interact with clients and crew members in a professional manner

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- MUST have a valid driver’s license with no major MVR infractions
- Bilingual (Spanish and English) strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of how and when to prune and trim shrubs
- Detail-oriented mindset and keen eye
- Previous professional lawn maintenance experience with focus on enhancement
- Landscape lighting and/or irrigation experience is a plus
- Ability to operate equipment proficiently and safely
- Ability to perform physical work in outdoor conditions, both hot and cold
- Physical capability to lift greater than 50 lbs

Oversee product placement and ensure attractive merchandising to maximize sales potential

Receive and unload new inventory, assess product quality, tag plants, and arrange them in designated areas

Maintain department cleanliness and organization, ensuring products are well-displayed and easily accessible

Regularly update department signage to reflect current promotions and information

Delegate responsibilities to support staff in a professional and clear manner to ensure efficient operations

Assist with any additional tasks or responsibilities to support the overall success of the department

Very strong knowledge of plants/products in your department, including care and maintenance

High level of technical understanding related to horticulture and retail garden center operations

We are seeking a part-time small engine mechanic to keep our equipment and our crews running. This person will work in conjunction with our full-time mechanic to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair various landscaping machinery, equipment, and fleet trucks. The mechanics will work in a brand new covered garage, with built-in work benches and most of the necessary tools and equipment provided; some supplemental tools may be needed from the mechanics.
This is a part-time year-round position, with work weeks averaging 3 days and 20-25 hours; specific days and hours are flexible and will be set on a recurring schedule upon hire. Some schedule fluctuation through different seasons is expected.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Keep equipment and machinery operating to its fullest by managing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting breakdowns, and performing repairs
- Coordinate with outside vendors or shops for larger or specialized repairs
- Manage routine maintenance on fleet vehicles: oil changes, light repairs, etc.
- Perform general maintenance and repairs on smaller equipment: blowers, trimmers, mowers, chainsaws, etc.
- Assist with maintenance and repairs on heavy duty equipment as needed: skid steers, mini skid steers, mini-excavators, etc.
- Respond to routine and emergency service calls promptly
- Maintain appropriate service and repair records, and manage shop supplies
REQUIREMENTS:
- MUST have a valid driver’s license with no major MVR infractions
- Prior small engine mechanic experience – at least 2 years preferred
- Industry licensing and certifications a plus
- Experience with repair and maintenance of gasoline and diesel engines associated with landscape and lawn maintenance equipment
- Familiarity with brands such as Stihl, Toro, and Caterpillar a plus
- Welding knowledge and experience a plus
- Able to safely lift and load up to 50 pounds
- Willing to work outdoors or in semi-climate controlled mechanic garage in all weather conditions and temperatures
- Strong communication skills and ability to work both as a team or independently
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English; Spanish bilingual a plus
- Tech savviness and willingness to learn new technology; experience with management software (specifically MaintainX) a plus
