Stonemason / Hardscape Installer
The Position:
For Garden’s Sake is a family-owned garden center and landscaping company, in operation since 1999. We are continually growing, and offer customers a one-stop shop for plants, landscape design/installation, and lawn maintenance services.
We are looking for experienced landscape stonemason / hardscape installers. The ideal candidates are hard working, team players, and detail-oriented. This is a full-time position, paying $18 – 20/hour based on experience. Responsibilities:
- Work with a variety of hardscape materials: pavers, flagstone, stone edging
- Build/install beautiful natural stone and paver stone patios, stone retaining walls, edging, steppers, dry creek beds, etc.
- Operate large machinery (trucks/trailers, loaders, dingos), bed edgers, sod cutters, and stone saws
- Produce a superior product that enhances our customers’ lifestyle
- Work closely with a team to accomplish a common goal
- Create a positive work environment for fellow team members
Requirements:
- MUST have a valid driver’s license with no major MVR infractions
- Experience in masonry and stone/hardscape installation: patios, retaining walls, walkways, firepits, etc.
- Experience in landscaping: planting, tree and hedge pruning, lighting and drainage work
- Ability to perform physical work in outdoor conditions, both hot and cold
- Physical capability to lift greater than 50 lbs.
